"We are all aware that we can achieve even more, which is a very big responsibility. If there are any distractions, it will not happen. I know they are my best players ever and their ambition is to win every game. We're strong but we can be even stronger.”
The coach also said that his aim was to make Sporting the toughest of adversaries and if they can maintain their current form, they will certainly be able to achieve that.
“Our goal is to make Sporting a more difficult adversary. We think we can repeat the good times of today [playing with Gil Vicente]. If we maintain this level and quality, we can lead the pack and fight with our rivals,” he said.
