We can beat both England and Australia away – http://www.senore.com/Cricket/GC-Smith-c1473
Buoyant after a successful tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 on their away tours.
The flamboyant South African line-up recently clean swept New Zealand, winning all the three series; the T20, the ODIs and Test matches, and they are next scheduled to tour England in July this year.
Graeme Smith led http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 to a 2-1 Test series win over England last time they toured the country in 2008, before winning the three-match series against Australia by the same margin later that year. Smith feels he has a much stronger side at his disposal
this time.
"I definitely think we can beat both England and Australia away,” said the 31-year-old top-order batsman, who took over as South Africa captain in 2002.
The Proteas skipper has his hopes attached with the formidable pace attack, which includes the likes of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Vernon-Philander-c2753, Marchant de Lange and Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
“We have a lot of the same players who did it in 2008-09, but we have an extra edge now in terms of the way we think about the way we play and train, plus there's the addition of players like Vernon Philander, Marchant de Lange and Lopsy Tsotsobe," an upbeat
Smith added further.

“England will have played a lot of competitive cricket by the time we get there and it's a tough place to win,” said the Proteas skipper. “So it's a very big tour for us, but we've crossed that hurdle before and we know we can do it," he added further.
Smith and his men had a very good chance of dethroning England as the worlds’ best Test side by winning the three-Test series against New Zealand by a 3-0 margin. But the weather Gods played spoilsport, as the tourists could manage to win only the second
Test at Hamilton, while the other two ended in tame draws despite South Africa being in commanding positions.
The Proteas will play three Tests, five One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals against England during the tour.
