We can take a couple photo at yellosh green lorn(sunny time) which wite balane we can give on camera as "K"?

There is Yellosh green light reflected to object.I use Nikon D 200 camera.which "K" setting is more requre for it

  1. Light has different "temperatures" expressed as Kelvin degrees. However, unless you have access to a VERY expensive light temp meter, you cannot be sure of any correct K setting. Even the temp will vary at different times of day and depending on if it is cloudy or hazy or blue sky etc. Inside a studio with fully controlled conditions and known Kelvin temps from the studio lights is about the only way you can set a precise K temp on your camera.

    Instead of worrying about a K temp setting on your camera, I suggest you get a quality grey card, or even a white card will do, and learn to do a custom white balance with the camera before shooting. This way your color will be correct based on those exact conditions at that time.

    Also, you can take one shot in that particular light with a grey card in the scene, then later use this as a target to achieve correct color later in post processing software. You need to shoot RAW to do this however. You then use this correct color setting in all other photos taken under the same conditions.
