The Bayern Munich attacker is looking forward to the clash against Werder Bremen this weekend and is confident of all three points from the fixture.
The Reds have started the season on a sensational note and have secured five wins from the five game played thus far. The Bavarian giants are being touted by many as the team to win the league at the end of the campaign, ahead
of the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Schalke.
Mario Mandzukic, who is in the form of his life, claimed that it will not be easy to take on Werder Bremen in their own backyard as the side has some great players in the squad. He admitted that the River Islanders can beat any
team on their day and Bayern will have to be careful.
The Croatian international is, however, confident that his team can win the game despite the opposition’s good recent form. He admitted that the side has found the perfect mix and are well on course to become a huge force in Europe.
“Werder have a good team and it's always difficult playing in Bremen. I think, though, that if we're as concentrated and motivated as we have been recently, there's no reason why we shouldn't come back with three points in the
bag,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Mandzukic supported Jupp Heynckes’ rotation policy and claimed that the actions keep all the players on their toes. He added that the side has great depth in the squad and it is very important that all players remain fit throughout
the course of the season as there are many different competitions Bayern will be taking part in.
“That's our biggest strength. We have a lot of games and every player is important. We also have good replacements on the bench and if someone misses out, it really isn't a problem,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich are thus far unbeaten this season and have won every single game in all competitions they have taken part in. They are well on course to win the league if they continue their sensational form.
