  1. No, not with a child but many of our elderly are sent home when they cannot cope ie, the lady sent home from a hospital in Kent with Gangrene in both arms and severe malnutrition!

  2. It is disgusting how the British people take the NHS for granted.

  3. no it wouldnt happen here but that doesnt make it right, it was fate that the poor child should die, what quality of life would he have had ?  sad but its for the best xx

  4. well wishers have left money for the baby's family........where were they when they needed the money for the hospital????

    beggars belief.

  5. The NHS  takes some beating, we are very lucky.

  6. I'm suprised they hadnt flown the mother to the UK for her to give birth here in the first place.

It is sad, but perhaps, with the parents lack of funding for medical treatment, things would have got worse for them if the poor baby had lived beyond 48 hours, so it may be a blessing in disguise. I dont mean that to sound harsh or cruel, but all UK citizens pay into the NHS, so why should we not got "special treatment"

  7. It is a very sad story, although it is not right that the parents were made to take him home because of lack of money, the outcome is best for all it would have been a nightmare and to be honest I wouldn't think he could have lived very long anyway.

As for our NHS I for one have no complaints they have been absolutely brilliant to me and I am very grateful.

  8. So true, as fecked as the NHS is they would never let something like that happen here.

  9. Yea NHS has it's problems but not this!

  10. Im sorry Stormy but you are wrong hundreds of patients are sent home every day without new life saving drugs because the area health authority cannot afford them

That's were the term (post code lottery came from .)
