Nos 2, 3, 4, 5, and even 6 (grrr) all had the occasional moments where they pulled themselves together. But only Wales managed to be consistently excellent.

Well if you beat France in Paris and thrash Ireland, then yes, you probably do deserve second. They should have beaten Wales too.

But all in all, Wales were the only team that had the heart to win this tournament.

On quality of play probably not. But points are what counts and we did enough to finish above the French. Which is always a nice thing.

this year's 6 nations was a fairly low standard affair-wales got better each match and deserved to win.it was one of the lowest standard 6 nations in a while though.edwards' defence coaching was more important to wales than gatland
