  1. It's like pissing in the ocean - it makes a difference, but you can't measure it.


  2. It makes no difference at all.  Obviously you will have four times as much chance of winning on the week that you buy 64 tickets, but you will have no chance of winning on the weeks you don't buy any.  64 tickets a month is 64 chances of winning, whichever way you slice it.

  3. I joined an online syndicate for the National Lottery  and Euro lottery. Pay once a month by direct debit, £40 per month for all 12 draws. Get results by email and winnings sent by cheque. Never miss one and don't have to worry about losing a paper tickets, which is a godsend. Haven't won a big un yet, but do have lots of smaller prizes which build the pot up over time.
