  1. B Is obvious, a keystone species is a species whose signifigance in the ecosystem is greater than its numbers. Oftentimes when a keystone predator is removed, species diversity suffers. C is a possibility, if it preys on more than one prey species, it may be a competitive release for both prey organisms, so maybe the answer is A?


  2. I would have gone with B alone, but Carlos has convinced me that C also could be an option, even though it is counterintuitive to think of a predator helping its prey reproduce.  Very thoughtful!
