We filled our pool with well water and ofcourse, the water is orange brown. we put staintrine in the water.?

will this clear the water up and how fast does this stuff work?

Staintrine is a stain remover not a water cleaner, the orange brown colour is sediment floating in the water.

If you don't go swimming it will eventually settle on the bottom or end up in the filter. The pool is usable, it just doesn't look nice.

You're going to have to filter your well water before adding it in future, it isn't a staining problem.

it wont work. what you need to do is mix a bucket of salt and 4 boxes of baking soda. when combined they eat rust. plus, it only takes an hour and will make your pool smell good. (we did the same thing; our pool smelled like a clean, tropical ocean for 2 days.)
