  1. Don't keep it in an unprofessional home. Give it to the local vet so they can take a look at it and keep it safe under their work, ASAP.

  2. take it to the nearest wildlife shelter

  3. First of all keep it warm and in a quite dark place. It must be in shock from the trauma. Second needs to see a vet to make sure there are no puncture wounds as dog saliva and cat saliva is toxic to birds. It needs medication soon. I would put some seed and some mealworms that you get at petstore in a shallow dish and put a bottle cap or jar cap full of shallow water. Do not handle it . Call vet asap and they will see injured wildlife most of time or refer you to someone that does. They can refer you to wildlife rehabber in your area that would take and care for bird until it can be released. This is its best chance to survive. There is no charge for wildlife. Good luck and thanks for caring. If there is any bleeding put some flour on it to stop it. Make sure bird does not breathe flour in.

  4. honestly you need to take this bird to the vets or something because it could be in pain, also with little feathers it could get cold. I think it would have a better quality of life in proffesional care as they can give it medicince for pain etc.. But if its bird you could feed the bird berries and even bird food from the shops like seeds and stuff and you dont need a big bowl like a little lid of something thats big enouh :) x*x

  5. it would be worth taking it to a vet to see about the feathers since it could be injured

you should give it bird seed to nibble, you can get that at pet shops and just use a small bowl and give it a bowl of water too, but try not to handle it too much u dont want it becoming tame

  6. What kind of bird?

On the other hand if you don't know how to care for a bird, you don't know how to care for an injured one.  Caring for injured birds is very hard. It's wild and hurt, bring it to a bird sanctuary.

  7. if u in the uk ring the rspca or rspcb for advice, i'm sure other countries have similar organisations that will help.

  8. Your probably best taking it to the vets, but if you plan on keeping it at home to heal it it depends on the age of the bird

If it's a young bird, you could use milk in a pipette to feed it ( I think )

If the bird is older, it will need insects and bugs to feed on, or anything that a bird will normally eat in the wild ( seeds & berries and also bread)

Try using a shallow bowl or saucer with water in for it

    I hope this helps :)

  9. bird seed and a small bird bowl maybe?

  10. Get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival.  Look here for one near you:
