We have a mobile home and have not figured out how mice are getting in every year when it gets cold out. We end up getting rid of them in the summer but want to know if there is something we could use to pervent them from coming back inside our home this year. I've heard of peppermint oil and mothballs but do they really work? Is there something we could put around the outside of the house to deter them? Please help they are driving us crazy!

  1. Its an old tale to put steel wool in any small holes. Like around you pipes and stuff

  2. Buy a lion or a tiger.

  3. USE PEPPERMINT OIL ON A COTTON BALL LEAVE IN CUPBOARDS OR WHERE THEY ARE

  4. Ultrasonic devices work for a few days, but the rodents come back.

Call some pest control companies (not exterminators) and request a quote to mouse-proof your mobile home.  Ask what they will do if you find mice coming into your place after they have done the work.  Hiring professionals will cost you some money, but if your peace of mind is more important, it may be worth it.
