  1. No as someone has said, you cannot get local news and weather on cable channels - I used to work for ntl and they had on analouge cable tv for Manchester UK and the customer wanted Liverpool UK and it was not possible because of the signal comming from the headend


  2. Unfortunately, AT&T UVerse does not carry a local weather channel forecasts today.  

    You can get basic local weather information from the AT&T UVerse U-Bar feature.   Granted this is not as good as a local forecast.

    It should be possible for AT&T to get local forecasts. UVerse has local Video Hub Offices in every metro area they serve.  This is where the local broadcast channels and the local goverment access channels get distributed.  There is no real reason AT&T can't manage a local weather forecast.    

    Local weather is an often asked for feature on AT&Ts own UVerse forums.  Given this, hopefully AT&T will fix this soon.

  3. No, that's the problem with not having cable; you can't get local information on national channels.
