We had a speaker visit our class today and she said...?

Question

something about a science discovery made in the 70's.She said some scientist put together a drum made of natural stuff,like animal skin,and topped it off with sand.She said sumthing about the vibration and waves of sound and that the scientist spoke good words like beautiful,and love into the drum and the sand at the top formed into something of nature...but when he spoke of bad words into it the sand just spreaded out anywhere...she called it chaotic...any information on this or any website i can find this at?

#1 she is not full of s### cuzz my 4th grade class did tha same thing accept with plants & tha plant that recieved good compliments keep growing while tha one tha didnt didnt really grow at alll

Either you misunderstood, or she was full of, uh, the stuff they spread out to make the roses grow.

The part that's nonsense is the speaking words having anything to do with what the sand did.

That the sand would end up in some configuration, wheather chaotic, or something illustrating waves, reverberation, or something.

What was the talk about? Who was she? What else did she say?
