We had a torado warning and the town siren went off for everyone to take cover,?

Question

I was in the car coming into town from picking someone up from work and I noticed everyone was standing outside trying to find it! Don't you find that as unsual as I did? I went into my house and found the middle closet and stayed until the siren went off. Luckily, it passed us.

There are people who are fasinated by them and will stand there and try to find them. Not me though. I'd be hiding for sure. Darn straight hide in the closet. I'd go down my basement and hide. LOL

People 'love' looking at Danger 'in the face'...!!  Even as that big Tsunami was coming, People went TO THE Beach to explore...!!

one  i would have found low ground if you are in a car like a ditch  and lay low but yea i stand out side and watch i live storms some of us  been through so many they don't bother us .for the person who gave me thumbs down   thats cool you must never been told  when out side find low ground  even a ditch if   you see a tornado and can not get to  a safer spot !

I think people get caught up in movies tooo much. Cars outrunning tornados(which isn't really true). They make it seem glamorous. Trust me its not. You just do what;s right to keep safe and you'll be fine. At least you didn't follow the crowd.
