I am not late for my period and I just took a prego test and it is showing positive. Is this even possible? I mean, 7-8 days ago?

It is definitely possible.  I was on IVF so I knew exaclty when I  conceived.  I first did the test at 7 days and it showed positive.  Often  people won't come up positive that early but it can happen.  I was pregnant with twins so the hormone level was even higher than usual.  It is very very rare to get a false positive on a test.  So if it is positive it is highly likely that you are pregnant.  Congratulations mum.

Did you test last cycle? Or just get period and think it was not your month? It may be that you concieved then and didnt realise.

Or you may just be one of the very rare women that get a result really early with high levels of hcg.

Or it could indeed be twins (or more lol) hence the higher hcg levels so early on!

I suppose it's possible. EXTREMELY rare, but possible, I suppose..

Congratulations! If the line is there, but VERY,VERY faint, you most likely conceived this cycle.

But if the second line is prominent and dark, you most likely conceived last cycle.

yes it is very possible test that show levels from 10 can be as early as 7days after conseving but also can be false if you are due for a period i noticed with myself it would read positie but tested again in a day or 2 was negitive with my first daughter i had a neg urine test right thru my pregnancy een a week before i had her but my 2nd girl showed up straight away and even before it showed up on drs test best way is to do a test in a day or 2 or wait till your period is late then ask dr for a blood test to be 100% sure  and you are most fertile around ovulation any way hope this helps and good luck

Wow umm, never heard of that being possible so early, perhaps you were already pg before 7-8 days ago.

Who knows, False positives are extremely rare but I would test again tomorrow with FMU to be sure, Are you on any meds that have HCG in them? that could cause this result? wow confusing, I would go to doc and get bloodtest. 7-8 days just wow, let us know how it goes.
