we had s*x before she took her pill for the day. does this matter? she's been on it for over a month. she didn't miss it she just took it after we had s*x

You take the pill at the same time every day. I take mine at night.  The important thing is that she takes the pill every day and not miss one.  When she misses one then you are in danger of pregnancy.

It doesn't matter if she tookit before or after.  What matters is that she takes it at the same time everyday so it stays in her system.  That is why she needs to take it everyday even if you don't have s*x every day.

i think that as long as she takes the pill at the same time every day, it is okay. But don't mark my words, here, because many birth control pills are different.

.... oh my gosh. If you even have to ask this, you shouldn't be having s*x. First of all, it doesn't matter what time of day you have s*x. What matters is that she takes the pill at EXACTLY the same time everyday. Even a difference of 30 minutes or an hour lowers the effectiveness from 99% to 97%. And forgetting to take it lowers it even more. One of my friends (who is MARRIED) is 7 months pregnant with her first child b/c she was on Loestrin 24 fe and didn't take the pill at EXACTLY the same time everyday.  Use condoms as well.
