we forgot about carrying liquids on a aeroplane fare enough but what happends to them afterwards. who gets to drink them ?

But the reality is Sñr Greedy Gutts the airport worker will take it home and share it with his wife at your expense. Next time, ask if you can drink it before you get on board

Usually nobody.  Most often the alcohol gets destroyed, or otherwise its auctioned at a later date.
