put it into special education classes and remeber the politically correct term is mentally challenged =) it's not nice to call computers slow,,, =)

in some cases it's best to purchase a newer computer because upgrades can often surpass the price of purchasing new =)

Well, if it has recently gotten slow compared to when it was new, you should consider reinstalling Windows. I'm assuming it's not a Mac machine. If it's older than 2 or at the most, 3 years old, it's time to upgrade. You don't give enough info though. Slow doing what? Booting up? Starting programs? Surfing the net? All of the above? You can run an online virus scan spyware check at the link below. You also should try defragmenting the disk. You don't say what machine or operating system you have. Assuming it's Windows XP, Ive given you links for both of these tasks.

Upgrade it. if you don't have money to upgrade, try to reformat it.

try using an over clock program -googl it-  that should speed up you computer a litel bit "if you like" =)
