We have 2 PCs of same configuaration with 1 KVA UPS and 2 batteries each of 180 AH. ?

My system restarts when there is a power failure in the whole colony, but it does not when i switch off the mains in my home where as the other system does not restart all no matter what in both the cases so please can u people tell me what is wrong with my PC

  2. If i understand correctly two PC's and one UPS with 2 Batteries.

    If your system restart it is probably because your UPS or inverter is not pure Sine wave.



    And the other reason is that that there is too much load connected to the Inverter/ups.

    1KVA is approx = 1000 W

    each one of your computers will take approx 550 W of power when the monitor (CRT) is switched on.

    Hence the reboot.

    Try disconnecting one computer and pulling your mains. if it reappears change you battery if it is old. (I know it is an expensive proposition)
