  1. I wish you would have said, what time of the year, and where do you intent to land.

If it is July and August, I would avoid Paris.  Go to Niece, Caan, and Monte Carlo

May, June, Sept, GO to Paris and stay there.  You could in fact spend all of those three months in Paris and still not want to leave.

If you want to know why not July and August in Paris, not only that it is so overcrowded and touristy, but to me it turns into a totally different city, having nothing to do with real Paris.

  2. When are you going?

    What transport - car, train?

    What age are you?

    What do you like?

France is such a big place and each region is so very different from the next that it's impossible to answer your question.

Try to add the above details to your question and you will get some better answers.

  3. My recommendation: spend about three days in Paris seeing the sites, museums, enjoying the food, etc. Then rent a car and head to Normandy for one or two days to see the D-Day beaches and Mont St. Michel. After that head south to the Loire Valley and spend two days exploring the chateaux. You can stay in some beautiful bed and breakfasts down there and see the countryside a bit. This is a pretty good introductory trip for northern France that will give you a large variety of landscapes and cityscapes. If you prefer the south, maybe do three days in Paris, take the TGV to Nice or Marseille, then see either Aix-en-Provence or Grenoble (in the Alps) on your way back.

  4. seat somewhere relaxing and drink wine as much as u can.
