We have 8-10 people for a 4th Picnic what's easy enough for an all day thing w/o BBQ-ing?

We're going to post up at the river & stay all day so we have front row seats for the fireworks. We don't want to carry along a grill, charcoal, utensils, etc.

Just buy a few of those huge sandwiches you can get at a deli.  One of them feeds like three to four people.  (Or two hungry people.)  Be sure to pick up some mayo and mustard packets.  My husband and I do this for picnics all the time!

You can also pick up food at like, KFC or any deli for that matter.  Fried chicken, cold salad, corn on the cob - they make it all for you!

You could bring along lunch meat and buns, chips. That would be pretty easy. Have fun.

Buy some Pizza and take it, you dont even have to put it in the cooler. So you dont have to drag a hugh cooler, just one big enough for drinks and snacks for later.No muss no fuss all you need is paper towles and throw away the boxes.

You'll need to carry coolers (for drinks, of course) - so bring along some cheese and crackers, chips, fresh fruit, cold fried chicken, etc.  or just make some great sandwiches.

Take a cooler with stuff to make sandwiches, and you could take some chips, some veggies and dip, some cookies, some soda, etc. you would only need a cooler and maybe some disposable plates.

Shrimp & Pasta salad

Large shrimp, colorful rotini pasta (boiled to your liking), onions (diced fine) green pepper (diced fine), mayo, garlic salt, black pepper. Refrigerate and serve. The ingredients are to taste, it's simple and is always a big hit at my fourth of july gathering. Trust me, this salad has minimal ingredients but is so full of flavor. You will be surprised at how much everyone likes it. Hopefully you have an ice cooler and individual tupperware bowls to keep it in. Have fun and good luck finding the perfect quick and easy meal
