We only have jacks in the master, den and one bedroom. We'd like to put a TV in the front room and be able to receive cable stations on it. For some reason, our Home Owners assoc. won't allow cable wire (even inconspicuously) on the front of the house so the room is basically cable wire inaccessible. To further complicate matters, because of our high ceilings, we are unable to drop cable wires down through the attic.

I have a computer set up in the room now-it receives internet remotely through a wireless router. Is there some way to do the same type of thing with cable TV? How can we get cable stations to that room?

Thanks!

  1. What is your budget?

Your can send HDMI wirelessly, about $500.  Gefen makes one, I sell them.

Please consult with a skilled carpenter/electrician before giving up on running some wire, it is never impossible.

  2. Audio Video Sender 2.4GHz signal Wide band FM modulation Connect up to 4 AV devices such as, DVD, cable, satellite, set top box Devices selectable via 2 supplied remote controls Provides clear reception up to 100m line of signal Built in remote control
