  1. you need to treat the soil to kill them thats where they  start out as grubs

  2. Ortho bug B Gone Max.  Spray it every couple of weeks and you won't have a Japanese Beetle problem.  It's easy to use and works well.  Any home improvement store will have it.

  3. Go to Ace Hardware and ask for help with your problem! I know for a fact that those Bags you can get that attracts the Beetles and they get in but they can't get out, don't help at all.because they attract more Beetles than you can Bag! So don't buy these Bags! Lots of Luck!

  4. You need to treat with a Biological pesticide called Milky Spore. It is a parasite that ONLY  attacks the Japanese beetle grubs that live under your lawn until they become beetles.

Any chemical like SEVIN will kill ALL insects, good and bad, including Honeybees. I have included a couple of articles on Colony Collapse Disorder regarding honeybees and chemicals.

    It is a SERIOUS problem.
