Question:

We have a '97 Honda accord, that has some trouble codes... we know wut they are, but don't know how to fix...

...them, the 3 trouble codes are; "Catalyst", "Oxygen Sensor", and the "EGR Sensor" is there any suggestions on how to get these to a good status? right now they are red. Thanks!!! :) its pretty much our only best working car.

  1. I would suggest to bring your car to a qualified service center where they have the proper equipment to diagnos the problem. I believe you can fix the job yourself but it's better to trace the cause of the problems through their computer diagnosis system or other similar gadgets for the purpose.


  2. you have a bad downstream oxygen sensor and your egr ports in the intake are clogged. clean them out buy a new egr and vacuum soledoin and replace the oxygen sensor that is after the cat. problem solved. very common easy to fix problem on the accords
