  2. I ran into a problem like this with a Suzuki motorcycle I used to own. It was just an old bike, but it ran really well. I went to get new bearings for the steering-head and I couldn't believe how expensive they were! IT was crazy! I took the old set to a local place called Badger Bearing and they matched everything up. It ended up costing me something like $15.00 and I still have almost an entire box of the bearings since I only needed 20 or so and there were 100 in the box.

One other thing to check is that you may not need to replace them at all. You may just be able to lubricate and tighten them.

I have no idea what the actual setup is on an MBK scooter, but if it is anything like an average motorcycle, those bearings should go for 20 years without replacement. Checking them and tightening them is part of the routine maintenance on everything from mountain bikes to Harleys.

It's something anybody with some experience could check for you very easily and fix in just a few minutes if they just need adjustment.

It's frustrating sometimes to be on Yahoo Answers when you wish you could just tell people to stop over tomorrow so you could take a look.

    Good luck!

  3. It should cost about $90.00 to fix.
