We have a lot of indoor plants. When we brought in our last batch of plants and potted them, we developed a gnat problem.

They are everywhere. They are in our sink and in all of our plants. They land in my drinks when I am just surfing the internet. They even fly into the fridge when it's open.

We will not blow off a bug bomb because we would have to wear to put our budgy birds. They are in a cage that is too large to move and I don't want to scare them to death by putting them in another cage.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of them? I am at the end of my rope. I hate bugs and I am tired of them ruining my food.

PLEASE HELP!!!

  1. Use bleach in a spray bottle, mix a little water...

  2. Try this:  Place an apple (cut up) in a bread bag (you know the bag that regular bread comes in).  Leave the end with the twist tie open.  Leave the bag out over night.  In the morning go in and quickly close off the open end of the bag.  The gnats will have gone in the bag over night to the apple.  If you do this and take the bag outside your problem should be solved.  This works with a banana as well.  Good Luck!
