  1. This depends on how many sizes there are.  I would suggest sifting them through a strainer, however the little beads will get caught in the holes if some of the beads are the same size as the holes.  Spaghetti strainers usually have more than one sized hole, so different sized beads will escape.  This is quite the puzzle.

    If this idea fails, then your best bet would probably be to pick out the larger beads one by one.  Unless there are more than two sizes, then I think that you're asking for too much, and you're better off using them as they are.

    I do a lot of work with beads.


  2. You need several different sized sieves.

    It is what they do with sorting money.
