We have a retail website and getting ready to write some blogs to link to our site?

The question is: should we only submit articles to one blog site or should we submit several articles to different blog sites and link to our site? If we submit a few articles to different blog sites. Will this be hard for the spiders to find their ways to link our site?

You should try to pick one website to submit each article. With duplicate content issues you could get penalized for multiple articles on different wesites. When you do write your blog articles submit them to Pingoat and Technorati.

I'm a little confused by your questions, since you're talking about two different things.

Submit articles would be classified as Article Marketing, which you'd want to submit your articles to popular Article Directories.  Then your articles can be picked up and used by Bloggers, Ezine Writers, Web Sites, E-Book writers, etc.

Blogs would equal personal effort and writing on a consistent basis.  Which would also be a great idea for you.  Create a Wordpress blog along with your retail website, and then you can write up tips, thoughts, specials, etc. in your blog.

Using both would get you the most traction in creating traffic.
