scrub it with the scrubby side of a sponge.  That ussually takes it off my table.

No need to panic.. the white spot is in the finish, not the wood.  You need to use some furniture wax on it.  This happened a million times to my mom's table, and here it is 50 yrs later and it still looks as good as new.  Actually, after the moisture dries up, most of the white should be gone, but you still need to wax it.

Sorry sport.  That stain is permanent.  I set a glass on my mothers piano 25 years ago and the stain or "ring' is still there.  The water has reacted with the varnish or finish that is on the wood and it is permanent.

its ok, all you need to do is clean your table really well, you have melted the oils and probably wax that has been put on your table, after you get all of the products off of it, oil it with a good oil. it may take awhile depending on how bad it is, but it is deffinalely repairable

Use a hot iron on it with a soft white cloth. It really works. In minutes it will be gone.

Murphey's Oil Soap.  They have some for light woods and dark woods.  It does wonders!

cover the entire table with hot pizza boxes, now you have a white rubber wood dinning table, enjoy
