We have a manufacturing plant in Berne, IN that produces about a semi load per week of saw dust and scrap wood pieces. Wood varies from oak, soft and hard maple, ash and walnut. The varieties are mixed from week to week. If you know of someone who would like to buy, please let me know.

  2. If it's scrap why not give it away?

It's not like you'd loose anything, only gain. You'd feel good and you never know when the person you give it to may be able to help you out.

It's the best freeconomy site on the net. It's all about helping people. Not for profit, just because you can and you want to.

  3. Check and see if there is a paper or a pellet mill in your area. Those are all good species of wood for that kind of stuff.

  4. There are a number of websites dedicated to buying and selling wood waste.   You might want to check those out.

I'm not sure what kind of brokering fee these sites take, but it's worth investigating.
