  1. most electric showers are mains fed as is your boiler, you cannot connect it to your boiler but with a separate feed yes you can use it alongside.

  2. Definate NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

  3. Nova you are obviously a guy or gal who likes taking risks in life!  Do your self a favour and pass this one by!  It is NOT a good idea.

  4. An electric shower runs of the cold water main, a shower from a boiler needs a hot and cold supply.

If your Electric shower is 10 KW and you shower for say ten minutes then you will use about 1.75 kw of electricity. if you are paying 11p per unit then your shower will cost you under 20 pence.    To run your boiler to use the shower will cost far more as the boiler is not as efficient as the electric shower which is 98% efficient.

  5. No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!

    That' a NONO.

  6. Possible, but your electric shower is probably not as expensive as you suppose: you don't use the hot water for all that long.  If your central heating plant provides hot water to the rest of the structure, you could do it -- but I doubt that it would pay.
