We have bought a Eheim ecco filter can not get it to work

it seems to take the water in but does not let it out again any ideas what we are doing wrong thanks

Hi,

are both the taps open? if so pump the grey lever to expell any trapped air - did you fill the filter with water before use? if not then turn the filter off, turn the taps off, disconnect the taps and fill with water... reconnect etc....

if this does not work then take it back to where you got it as it will be faulty.

Hi,did you get a manual.If so did you follow all instructions if its not an air lock then take it back.They will replace it as you may have got a dodgy one.

It is airlocked,you will have to suck it through from the outlet end.
