We have created a table and have info in it. I would like to put in pictures can this be done?

The table decribes locations and I would like to add pictures to the listing.

Do you mean a table in the Yahoo Groups database section?  If so, no, you can't add pictures, only text.  Instead, you could create a file (like an html file or word doc) and upload that into the file section.  That would give you more flexibility to add pictures.
