We have directv and we set it so when someone calls it shows the caller id on the tv.?

all of a sudden it stopped.

i checked it and it said it was on and then i turned it off then i went to turn it back on and then i turned it back on and it still doesn't work.

does anyone know what to do?

Is the phone line connected?

Do you still have Caller ID?

If not your receiver probably is faulty.

Do you have DSL? If you do, please make sure you have a DSL filter between the DTV box and the phone wall jack. Reset your DTV by using the red reset button usually that sits inside the access card door.
