  1. What about.....

    a paint stripper machine

basically like the floor polisher but one tht takes the top of the wooden flooring and any lumps and bumps off

  2. Paint stripper, is a good way, dab it on with a paint brush, over a small area at a time, and leave it to like bubble then just scrap it off with a scrapper.

  3. i used gasoline.

  4. It would depend on the type of white paint thats on the floors, if its oil based use white spirit with a very fine wire wool, if its water based use hot soapy water with the wire wool. Good luck

  5. Rent a sanding machine. You can get one like an upright vacuum cleaner.

  6. most paint is water soluble, you should be able to remove it with a damp cloth and some vigorous rubbing.

  7. Use Nitromorse - dab it on and leave it the recommended time (you are talking about gloss paint?)

    Use a 1" scraper.

  8. How about 'paint stripper' from your paint supplies store?
