  1. Use a mix of cinnamon and sugar. The ants will pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her.

  2. Are you sure they're not fleas or something>?  Never heard of flying ants.  Usually, flying ants are termites!!!!  But, I can't say that I've ever heard of termites biting anyone -- but fleas do.  But, what do I know!!!  Obviously, I'm wrong 'cause I checked and found these for your reference:

  3. Get one of those electronic bug zapping tennis rackets.  I used one on a swarm of winged ants last month, and (to my amazement) killed the whole colony.  Not only that, but I felt proud to be able to kill ants without poisons.  I felt GREEN all over.

There are several for sale on ebay just now.  I searched "Racket Insect Zapper."  I include a link to the first one found.

  4. You might want to call an exterminator to make sure that they are not termites or carpenter ants.  Both of these can literally eat you out of house and home.

  5. A fogger may work but if there is a colony in your walls it will return. Try getting a fly trap (sticky type) to see how bad the infestation is. If it is more than 1/4 covered you need professional help if not then a fogger in the room they are in the most will do the trick. Good Luck!

  6. Try to capture some of them on a sticky trap or piece of tape, then call an exterminator.  I doubt a fogger would do the trick because you need to figure out where there colony is in the house.  They could also be termintes, flying ants have a thin, distinct abdomen, termintes have a straight abdomen.  My exterminator thought we could have flying termintes around our house, but I captured some of them to prove they are flying ants and am calling them out again.
