  1. Yikes!!!! Isn't your agent holding your hand and explaining this all to you?

  2. you will go back to the mortgage advisor who will work out the mortgage for you, and once that goes through you can start to worry about surveys, stamp duty, fees and solicitors. I suggest if you dont have one already to get a solicitor, they do all the hard work for you, ie surveys and hips.

If your offer has been accepted you can sit back and relax, unless you get guzummped the house is yours!

  3. See a solictor first

  4. Your next step, after you have a signed contract, is to start the loan process by giving the mortgage company your personal information.  Surveys and appraisals are done closer to your closing, since these folks don't get  paid if the loan doesn't close.  They will want to know that you are approved first.  Congratulations!

  5. HEY STARGER XXXXXXXXX

  6. Assume your in the UK.

The estate agent will send you the agreement in writing. They will also want details of your solicitor. Again check round for a good deal as prices do vary..

You need to shop around for a mortgage.

    Try http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/

There are still plenty of deals out there. i found it cheaper to do the searching myself. A mortgage adviser does not do the job for free...

Look at the deal the adviser offers to see if its better than any you find your self.

Once you selected a mortgage company, you'll pay a deposit / fees etc.

They will carry out a survey, if they find anything wrong this gives you a second chance to haggle. After final agreement you arrange a day to exchange contracts and  move in.
