We have just entered into a 90 consultation period in work and we are all getting made redundant.?

i have been trying for a baby as I have been employed for 3 years, if i did get pregnant would i lose all maternity rights as we are being made redundant??

  1. If you have been notified of your redundancy before you report your pregnancy, then you will still get the boot.  


  2. I am in a similar situation. You will need to speak to your HR department about this. If you were on Mat Leave when they approached you should get your Mat Leave paid til the end of the 39 weeks plus what you are owed (1 full week for every year worked plus outstanding hols etc). You could speak to ACAS as they deal with employment law and will be able to advise your further. Your employer should be looking to see if there are any other positions available first and if no luck then discuss your money. Sorry I couldn't help you more. Good luck though!!!
