We have baby mosquitos in above ground pool. It is a large pool, so I'd rather not drain the water. How do I kill them? Will shock kill them? I want to be able to preserve the water. Please help.

  1. cover the pool

  2. go to your nearest garden or hardware store and get these things call "mosquito dunks"

they kill the eggs on up and last quite a while and are non-toxic.

  3. Bleach! and mosquito's cannot live in moving water- so turn on the filter or something to move the water. Larvae is gross... I find them in my outside dog water if I don't change it often enough.

  4. The pH of the water is probably too high. Do a pH and test and if it's over 7.0, go buy muriatic acid (Home Depot) and pour it into the pool trying to spread it around all area of the pool surface. Mosquito nymphs are near the surface. After about an hour, stir the pool water thoroughly to dilute the pool water evenly. If the pH is still high, repeat the process.

  5. Get a bug zapper
