We have sold our zen 1 year back but the buyer has not transferred paper in his own name what can we do now.?

all documents needed for transfer of ownership were handed to him like registration book,insurance paper,form 30and 29(i am not sure about the number) whatever is needed according to the motor vehicles act but he is delaying the matter.what can we do from our end if we submit a copy of saledeed to the dto office is it sufficient otherwise we have to transfer it from our own money he has not even cleared all his dues

you give information to the RTO as well as near police station

Whenever you make a sale you should sign the TO form with date which compels the buyer to transfer within 30 days.

Now you have to inform the RTO to avoid any future concequnces

report the sell to your goverment body that records sells and lic, etc.  this protects you if it is lost or used in a crime in some way also.
