  1. You ate something that you dont even know what is it ?

    Well it was good ah?

  2. Around here it is usually rolled in coconut.

  3. It's actually ice cream; it's just been "super"-frozen, way beyond the usual freezer ice cream temp, and then coated in a batter and deep-fried. It has to be very, very cold or else it would melt in the deep fryer.

Sometimes it has cinnamon on top. Mmmm, that's what I remember. Or honey.

  4. I used to make deep fried ice cream when I was a chef.

I used to use my own secret recipe for the coating.  The ice cream needs to be well frozen, coated and deep fried in a very hot frier for about 40 seconds.  I served it with caramel sauce and unwhipped double cream.  It was delicious.

  5. I own a restaurant and we make our deep fried ice cream as follows; Take a large scoop of very hard frozen ice cream, push your thumb into the center, add your favorite filling such as caramel sauce. Cover the hole up, and wrap the ice cream ball in white bread that has had the crusts removed. Be sure to cover all of the ice cream. Make a pancake batter (ready mix is ok), dip the ball into the batter and then drop slowly into hot oil 360 Fahrenheit, fry until golden brown, remove with a wire colander, place on paper towelling to drain excess oil. Top with more of your favourite sauce and real whipped cream......Enjoy!!

  6. ice cream coated in egg whites then cornflakes and deep fried

  7. rolled in coconut and fried here in tx
