We just bought a freezer off Craigslist and it only reaches 18 degrees F. Do I need to add more freon?

  1. a deep freeze needs to be at least -20 f.  


  2. It's easier for the freezer to cool when the unit has stuff in it.  Besides, how cold do you think you need it to be.
