We just bought a samsung 1080p and...?

How can I get the captions to turn off? theyre on and when we try to change them and it says Unavailable. Also, how do I change the settings to the 1080?

What model do you have?

I think it may be in a demo mode and not caption mode.

But if you want specific help you need tell me the model number!

Oh I am not sure but I have a polaroid and I think we used the settings to change or the menu.

The setup menu lets you toggle subtitles on/off. Your remote might have a button. Look under the hinged flap.
