We just found a baby turtle adn it looks hungry....

Yeesh. Where would a baby water turtle get carrots and stuff? How would they even eat the tough things?

Most baby water turtles eat worms, small fish, insects, small arthropods, snails, etc.

However, it is absolutely best to just release it back home ASAP.

i have a turtle

i feed him lots of lettuce, carrots, cabbage, apples, and leftover meat to give him some protein

go to a local pet store and see what they can do to help

It really depends on what kind of turtle it is. If it's a land turtle I agree on the lettuce and stuff but a turltle that live in the water are carnivorous and prefer things like fish and worms.

Put him back where you found him and let him eat on his own.

depends on the turtle. most turtles will eat vegies like lettuce (NOT ICEBERG) shredded carrots and such and will eat meats like small pieces of chicken.
