We just made a guinea pig cage....like on Cavy Cages.?

and for the ramp to the "loft" upstairs, we cut a rug to shape the ramp and it's "100% polypropylene pile"

We haven't seen any knawing or chewing yet, but if our piggies do chew on it will it harm them or is it safe?

it's safe. BUT if you see any sign of sickness then you should DEFINATELY take them to a vet.

They should be fine, my pig roamed a little one day and tried chewing many of the plastic buttons off my remote, it now has several pieces missing from it, he went on fine and now just sniffs the remote without eating from it.
