You can turn the k**b both ways, but nothing happens. Is it possible they forgot to hook them up? Is there something that needs to be removed, or activated in order to make them work?

  1. Sounds like the water pump is either off,or is not working, check all the valves coming from the pump, check the power from pump, and check the hot water tank,+ call a professional and see what they can think of,my best friends dad would know this,so I'll call him and see what he thinks, then I'll edit my answer, cause he's been a plumber/electrician for over 50yrs,he knows what he's talking about,i call him all the time, and he fixes it with a simple phone call,so i do what he tells me while on the phone, and it's fixed,so i'll get back to you.

  2. calll the repair servicre to check it out

  3. I hope that I'm wrong..........but if the plumber does the soldering with the valve in, they may be frozen. Call the builder and have his plumber check them. It could be that he forgot to run water to them.also..........butttttttttt......all the best.

  4. Sound like a stuck valve plug. The unit will have to be disassembled and the plug freed up.

Yes, it is possible for the units to have never been connected. Your builder should rectify it in any case since it is a new house.

  5. some of the older moen faucets you have to pull the k**b out and turn left or right for temp control. If the house is brand spanking new, there might have had some trash get in cartridge which would stop flow somewhat. Also new houses come with one year warrenty. Call ur builder

  6. It is the contractors responsibility. Call him.

It is possible that they didn't connect the showers,

but far more likely that they simply didn't open the

shut-off valves ahead of the shower valves.

You might look for these before you call the

contractor, though they should have been opened

to check the shower valve/tub installation for leaks

    and operation.

(You will want to know where these valves are for

the inevitable washer replacements in the future.)
