We just moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan...?

we were wondering what the best snow tires were to use up here. Any advice would help...Thanks

When we lived in Michigan...lower peninsula....we had studded snow tires.  I'm not sure if they're still allowed.  We had plenty of snow and they worked well, but when the going got rough, we always had chains in the trunk to pull us out of a bind.  Sometimes they're the only thing that will work.

I, for one, do not miss Michigan winters one iota!  Hope you enjoy them....
