We just painted our bedroom green (savannah green from benjamin moore). Is it good in feng shui?

Some site says skin colors are the best, some says green is perfect too for a bed room. Which one is true?

If you want to apply Feng Shui to your bedroom, to know if the color is ok, you should first analyze your home according to the 8 Mansions and the Flying Stars system of Feng Shui. Once you know which element apply to your bedroom, you will know if green is ok. Green is of the wood element, so if wood applies there, you'll be fine.

there is no such thing as fengshui by colors, though bright colors such as bright red, orange and yellow can activate certain chi or energy; activating means it makes the nature of the chi happen - as chi can either be good or bad. that is as far as it goes.

fengshui is more about the 5 elements (fire, wood, water, metal and earth). but it is not as simple as it sounds. but these are made simple by the fengshui techniques like flying stars, 8 mansions, water placements, etc.; the names are literal translations from their chinese names. the chinese fengshui masters of the ancient do not like these method to fall into the wrong hands, thus they created these unusual names.

regarding the bedroom, most western people focuses their fengshui in the bedroom - i dont really understand the reason behind this. to have a good fengshui in the bedroom, first you need to locate the bedroom where there is a good chi combination, or at least the mountain star is good. as mountain star is for health. this is using flying stars. second, using flying stars and 8 mansions locate your bed to your favorable location and direction. third, make the room more yin, less yang, meaning no audio, video, computers, mirrors that face the bed, water like aquarium and no plants - these can make your life complicated.

please do note that the good fengshui of your bedroom can be negated by the bad fengshui of the other parts of the house. as in fengshui, a house is considered as a single unit - it has a main front door, where the chi comes in, and is distributed throughout the house. thus, the chi going into your bedroom comes from this main door. so, if the other parts of the house have bad fengshui, then it is useless to apply fengshui just to the bedroom.
