We just purchased a timeshare with vacaton charters, ltd.?

It's located in the Poconos and the price was cheap $7000 and only $235 fees and $135 for other sites- hiltons, marriotts, etc all over the world. There is a fee of $84 a year to stay in the international/other state programs which is all we're interested in....it's ours until 2046....sounds too good to be true, is it?

Nope that is how they work.  Or at least how they supposed to work.  The problem is that not all the places that you would like to visit will be available.  Make sure you like the resort you are buying because if it doesn´t have any "exchange power" that is all you will get.

Also have in consideration the following:

Maintenance fee $235

plus the                $135

plus the                 $84

It´s a total of   $454

Make sure you can afford it every year combined with airfare and expenses.  This where most of the owners struggle down the road.
