  1. Gee I wonder why.

    A) It's illegal (for good reason) to buy a dog under 8 weeks old.  The dog needs it's mother back, NOW.

    B) It is a dog, not a goat, and not a cow.  Get puppy replacer formula while you are at the VET where you should be going right now!

A 5 week old puppy taken from its mother can very easily die, so I suggest you get your butt off the computer and get moving!

  2. call your vet and ask him/her if its ok for a f week old st.Bernard to be drinking goat milk, oh! and all dogs will throw up if the drink is too cold and if he drinks too fast, but still, call your vet.

  3. Why are you giving a dog goat milk? Why do you have a 5 week old puppy. A puppy should not be separated from its mother until it is 8 weeks old! Go to the pet store or you vet and get puppy formula.

  4. Don't ever give your puppy milk again because the only reoson why he threw up is because milk makes a puppy and a dog sick. Puppies only drink their mom's milk.

  5. OMG, how did you purchase a 5 week old puppy? You should never get a puppy younger than 8 weeks old!

Depending on how much the pup is vomiting it could be the goat milk, but I am not quite sure. Take the puppy to the vet because there is normally quite a few complications with little puppies, that is why you shouldn't get a puppy that young. Please take the little thing to the vet.

  6. stop feeding him goat milk if u don't drink it don't give it to ur dog give him water duh goat milk is what vets do to get dog to vomit.

  7. Don't feed him anything else tonight.Just give him unflavored Pedialyte and chicken broth, frozen,so he can l**k the ice cubes. This will keep him hydrated. Then take him to your vet first thing tomorrow. He is way too young to be away from his mother, and vomiting in such a young puppy will cause dehydration very quickly. You might even take the pup to an emergency vet tonight to rule out parvo.

  8. The dog was not old enough to leave his mother, which means he needs his mothers milk. regular milk and goat milk are bad for dogs because the lactose, you should get lactose free milk for your puppy, it wont upset his stomach. Good luck.

  9. i wouldnt give it goat milk try give it water or cow milk

  10. Don't know where you bought a 5 week old puppy - it's illegal in this state to sell a pup before it is 8 weeks old - and with good reason.

This isn't a goat - the poor pup needs dog's mother's milk, you can get it at your vet's and in some feed stores.

Take the poor thing to the vet and find out how to care for it before it dies.

  11. This puppy was to young to leave it's mother. Shame on you for buying such a young puppy. I would suggest take it back to it's mother because that's the best thing.

  12. Idiots, you shouldn't have bought him so young. But seeing as you have...

Firstly, he needs to be socalized. The best thing I can think of is to find a mother and pups, so that he can stay with them a long time. A mother dog  actully teachers her pups about behavier and such, and the reccomended time to sell puppies is 12 weeks for that reason... they've gotten all their lessons, they know not to bite, and most puppies sold at that age are better behaved for the rest of their lfie. So you need to find a way to get that for your pup.

He needs special formula. The vet will have to give it to you, goat milk won't have the minerals and vitamans your pup needs to devolop a healthy brain, organs, bones... sounds expensive, but if he doesn't get the right type of milk and vitamans then he'll get sick a lot when he's older from bad nutriton. So really... vet now, or vet a lot later/put down.
